As part of the final semester in my graduate program, I tasked myself with the challenge of creating a community based rock climbing app that catered to the novice and experienced climber alike. The aim of this app is to help nourish the budding community that already exists, which is ready to thrive given the recent pandemic induced isolation.

In order to promote connections, the highlight of this app will be to showcase different events associated with the surrounding climbing gyms.

Climbing tips & tricks

Being familiar with the vernacular and learning ways to improve their climbing technique will help the user feel more of a sense of belonging to the community.

Highlight local climbing gyms

Giving the user immediate access to a map of their city that includes every climbing gym available to visit.
