About

Hi, I’m Deborah👋🏼

Human-Centered Design is all about building a deep empathy with the people you’re designing for; generating tons of ideas; building a bunch of prototypes; sharing what you’ve made with the people you’re designing for; and eventually putting your innovative new solution out in the world.

I am a Human-Centered designer with skills in creating experiences and artifacts in the 2D and 3D space. My personal passions of building community, seeking out good design, and developing genuine connections all serve as cornerstones in my professional endeavors.

We all have a desire to belong. Leveraging my experience and passions of always seeking out community, has helped me build a network of genuine people in both my personal and professional life. Which helps strengthen my desire to build strong teams to work with.

Good design is invisible. Bringing out the best design in every project helps with creating more seamless user experiences. My 10+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer has trained my vision to seek out such aesthetics.

Starting with the foundation of curiosity and empathy, I seek out the development of meaningful connections with clients, colleagues, and friends alike.

Education👩🏻‍🎓

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design in Advertising from Sam Houston State University as well as a Master of Arts in Design and Innovation from Southern Methodist University.

Hobbies & Interests🤙🏼

In my spare time you can find me: preparing for my first powerlifting meet, climbing with friends at the bouldering gym, at a concert in Deep Ellum, perfecting my kimchi recipe, hiking with my goofy goldendoodle Appa, killing it on DDR at the arcade, or road tripping in my Jeep.
